Discover and Grow: Clinical Supervision

Are you looking for a supportive, creative, and enriching supervision experience to help you grow as a therapist? Whether you are transitioning to private practice, seeking to deepen your clinical skills, or looking for a space for professional reflection, I offer a range of supervision services tailored to your needs.

A Bit About Me, My Style, and My Interests

I am Sarah Haskett, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP) and a Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC). My professional journey is built on a diverse foundation of clinical experience and a lifelong passion for the creative arts.

Before my clinical career, I worked in theatre, which instilled in me a fascination with human behaviour and the power of creative expression. I now blend this background with evidence-based practice, believing that understanding ourselves, life, and wellness is deeply linked to creativity. My approach is formulation-driven, meaning we look at the full picture. I work to create a space where you can be yourself, facilitating awareness and helping you connect with the values that underpin your work.

I began my clinical career in 2013 as a mental health nurse, first in a psychiatric intensive care unit and later in a community mental health team. I then moved into the NHS IAPT service, where I trained as a CBT therapist and eventually became a senior psychological therapist before establishing my private practice in 2020.

My clinical training and special interests include:

  • Neurodiversity:

With a personal understanding of the psychological impact of neurodivergence, I have a special interest in autism, ADHD, dyslexia and aphantasia. I have worked in a specialised therapy pathway for individuals undergoing assessment and I am certified with ADOS & ADI-R assessment tools in the diagnosis of autism.

  • Trauma and Long-Term Health Conditions:

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have experience with trauma, adjustment disorders, and their intersection with somatic illnesses like fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I previously served on the BABCP special interest group committee for long-term health conditions and have under gone additional LTHC training in CBT

  • Anxiety and Fear-Related Disorders:

I work with OCD, social anxiety, panic, health anxiety, and phobias, recently incorporating virtual reality (VR) exposure therapy as an innovative tool for habituation.

  • Young People:

I am trained to deliver CBT to young people aged 12 and above and plan to complete further training in EMDR for this age group later in this year.
